This year, we were preparing to launch the festival’s art contest in April, asking children to respond to the prompt, “where would you want to go visit in Italy?”
Things are a little different now.
We’d love for you to submit your very own “andrà tutto bene” illustration. “Andrà tutto bene” means “everything will be okay.” Right now, children across Italy are sharing photos of their rainbow artwork, emblazoned with this message of hope and positivity.
Let’s join them.

We encourage children and youth ages 4-17 to submit their creations to continue this message of hope and community. Your submissions will be featured on social media (tag us!) and prominently at our annual Opening Ceremony at City Hall. The deadline to submit is May 22, 2020. After all the entries are received, a committee, composed of members of the local community, will select 8 winners, two from each age group (4-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-17) to be honoured at the Opening Ceremony.
To make this accessible for all, we ask that all artwork be made on a standard letter size paper (8.5”x11”). Children and youth can use pencil crayons, paints, pastels, or mixed media. Take a photo with your artwork and submit it along with a completed form.
Two contests, two chances to win.
Submit your creations in response to the question, “where would you want to go visit in Italy?”
