Vegetable gardening is an Italian summer tradition; Italians pride themselves with their vegetable gardens. Gardening is also a popular hobby for many Canadians. Gardening has never been more popular these days, since many of us are staying home.

About Judith Cox
After working for 15 years as the gardener for Saunders Farm, Judith now works as a garden consultant during the growing season, and volunteers at Master Gardener Advice Clinic at local farmer’s markets. She is also the president of the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society. In the winter, Judith gives lectures on a variety of gardening subjects at local horticultural societies, writes for local magazines and publications, and has a small business selling watercolour/pen and ink cards.
