Known for her silky tone and interpretive skills, singer-songwriter and three-time Juno Award nominee Susie Arioli returns to Ottawa for an evening of jazz, blues and soul music in the newly renovated Dominion-Chalmers; the historical, cultural and community hub in the heart of the city.

Susie Arioli formed her band in 1996 and made nine records since. In 1998, she opened for Ray Charles at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Susie won the Oscar Peterson Award in 2009, recognizing her outstanding contribution to jazz. She also won a Félix Award for Jazz Album of the Year All The Way (2012). In 2014, Susie performed at the Ottawa Jazz Festival’s annual benefit.
For her latest album, Spring (2015), Susie collaborated with a new band and showcased her songwriting skills. The album was produced by Grammy Award-winner John Snyder and arranged by the legendary Don Thompson. Spring is about renewal and fresh starts.
